Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Drainiacs ("we", "us") collects when you use our website drainiacs.co.uk, call our phone line, or interact with our posts on social media, and what we do with it. We keep it plain because your privacy shouldn't need a lawyer to understand.

Who we are

Drainiacs is a drainage call-out service covering the TW postcode area around Twickenham, Greater London. You can reach us on 07700 137648or by email at hello@drainiacs.co.uk.

What we collect

  • When you call us: your phone number and the details of your drainage enquiry. Our phone line is a tracked number, so the time, duration and originating number of your call are recorded so we can return your call and manage the job.
  • When you use our enquiry form: the name, phone number, postcode and message you type in. We use these only to reply to your enquiry.
  • When you allow analytics cookies: Google Analytics receives page views, device/browser information, approximate location, call/email clicks and form interaction or successful-enquiry events. Cookie identifiers distinguish browsers. This helps us understand and improve the site; it is not anonymous data simply because your name is absent.
  • When you allow advertising cookies: the Meta Pixel sends page/service views, contact intent, form interactions and successful-enquiry events to Meta. This helps measure and improve Facebook/Instagram advertising. Meta may associate these events and browser/click identifiers with your Meta account and use them for advertising under its own privacy policy.
  • When you engage with our social posts: if you like, comment on, or view our posts on Facebook or Instagram, those platforms provide us with aggregate, non-identifying performance figures (such as total reach and number of interactions). We do not receive your name or profile details from this.

How we use it

  • To answer your call or enquiry and carry out the work you asked for.
  • To understand which of our website pages and social posts are useful, so we can make better ones.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not add you to marketing lists without your asking us to.

Who we share it with

To carry out a drainage job you request, your contact details and the details of the job are passed to the drainage engineer who attends. We also use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Google (website analytics, when you allow it), Netlify (website hosting and enquiry-form delivery), and Meta (Facebook/Instagram social activity and consented website advertising measurement). We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.

Cookies, tracking and your choices

Analytics and advertising are on by default unless you turn them off. You can allow them separately, reject both, or withdraw your choice through. The site, phone links and enquiry form work when both are rejected. See our cookie information for storage and lifetimes.

We do not send your name, phone number, full postcode or enquiry text as pixel or analytics event parameters. When you allow tracking, we retain approved campaign information for the browsing session; advertising click identifiers require advertising consent. If you send an enquiry, permitted attribution accompanies it so we can understand which campaigns produced enquiries. We do not enable automatic advanced matching or send your enquiry details through a server-side advertising API.

Google and Meta may process information outside the UK. Their policies explain their processing, safeguards and your controls:Google's partner-site informationand Meta's privacy policy. Withdrawing consent stops future website tracking; it does not erase information already received by these providers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and call records only as long as needed to complete the work and meet our legal obligations, then delete them.

Your rights

Changes to this policy
