Cookies and your choices
Updated 9 September 2026
Analytics and advertising are on by default unless you have saved a choice to turn them off. Accept or reject both, or select each separately. You can still call us and send enquiries with optional cookies rejected.
What we store
- Your choice: a persistent browser preference. It records the two categories and when you chose them, so we can respect your decision. Saved opt-outs do not expire. If browser storage is blocked, the choice may last only for the current page.
- Analytics, if allowed: Google Analytics cookies such as
_gaand_ga_…distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure a maximum lifetime of 180 days without renewal on each visit. They support page, call-click, form, FAQ, reading-depth and video reports. - Advertising, if allowed: Meta Pixel cookies such as
_fbpand, after an ad click,_fbcconnect website events to advertising. Meta controls these cookies and may use additional cookies on its own domains. See Meta's cookie policy for its current lifetimes and controls. - Campaign information, if allowed: we keep approved campaign labels in session storage; landing-page/referrer information requires analytics consent and ad click identifiers require advertising consent. This information can accompany an enquiry. Session storage ends when that browsing session ends.
Changing your mind
Use Cookie settings in any page footer. Withdrawing a category stops its tracking, removes its applicable first-party cookies and refreshes the page to unload the tracking scripts. Changes also apply to other open Drainiacs tabs. Your browser controls cookies held on Google and Meta domains.
We do not include names, phone numbers, full postcodes or enquiry text in analytics or advertising event parameters. Private, staff and preview pages are excluded. A call-link click is contact intent; only an acknowledged form submission is counted as a website lead.
More about data use and your rights is in our privacy policy. Google's cookie information explains its technology.
